One recent accomplishment I’m proud of is making a format/name change to my comic book podcast, formally We Love Comics and now The Comic Book Kaiju

I’m working on completing my Saga Funko set and need a lying cat (unless of course it’s from your new life of crime). I’m moving outta country for the next 4 months for school so the recent accomplishment has been packing and organizing my place before the move and SDCC! Cannot wait to hang on Saturday and stay safe

One thing I’m proud of is I was able to get paid a fare wage for my photography. I take photos of camping and outdoor gear on the side and I recently landed a pretty big client for me. So yeah, pretty stoked about that one.

Finished a Horror Anthology, Tales from the Narrow Bridge The Wyrmwood Devil with NBF (www.narrowbridgefilms.com) through a pandemic that’s now off to film festivals. I wrote some of the segments, acted in a bunch of them, and directed one.

My wife and I manged to have sex whilst she's 7 months pregnant in the current heat wave hitting the UK. All it took was a well angled fan. Feeling VERY accomplished.

Definitely wouldn't mind acquiring that pink Lying Cat you recently, ahem, "got your hands on". We're onto you Brian. I can't help but notice your lack of alibi for your whereabouts on July 11th...

As for my most recent accomplishment, after years of wondering, I finally asked my doctor about adult ADHD and received a diagnosis. I've been on medicine for a few weeks now and it's been nothing short of life changing. It feels as if a cloud I've always known was there but never quite been able to put into words has been lifted. My productivity and executive function are enhanced, and my apartment's never been cleaner. Even the things I enjoy most in life, like reading comics and talking to people, have improved in nuanced ways. There's a part of me that is frustrated I spent 30 years of my life on hard mode, but I'm ultimately thankful for those years and challenges having helped to shape me into who I am today. Overcoming hardships breeds character growth, and I'll be damned if I'm not a hell of a character. Feels scary to say almost, but I feel like I can be my real self now.

I set a goal to read 20 books this year, because I've had such a hard time finishing anything the past few years. My attention span has been garbage. Still five months to go and I'm already at 16. I know a lot of people who read a helluva lot more, but I'm proud of myself for sticking to it and finishing something.

Very proud of making a coffee cake from scratch, with yeast and everything. It tastes terrible, like cinnamon sawdust, but looks legit...

I purchased a home last year and am proud of finally getting around to replacing the dishwasher I couldn't use because it would cause a waterfall to cascade into my basement. I have that delightful pink Lying Cat pop, but am in the market for the Robot IV and Ghüs bookplate if anyone is willing to part with them!

I got published! The last few years have been the most difficult of my life but I finally got something I wrote featured in a legit publication. And more than that, it was something deeply personal and I’m very proud.

On to the next one (and maybe get paid this time)!

Just got married on July 9th! We’ve been engaged for 3 years because of COVID but didn’t want to let another year pass us by. Small intimate ceremony at our house with parents and siblings, followed by a slightly bigger celebratory dinner at a nearby restaurant with extended family.

Good luck at SDCC!

I just operated a reciprocating saw for the first time and cut out some old unused cast iron pipe in my basement without losing any limbs, digits, or masculine pride. Very pleased with myself!

You inspired me! I wrote and drew the first “issue” of a comic (which is first for me) as a love letter to my wife/push present.

1.I dropped two of the ten pounds I gained while I was on vacation.

2. I’m freeing up more time to journal and make art.

3. My 10month old now knows how to say “go away” to the cats.
