My first concert was weezer performing at the hard rock hotel and casino in 2006. I was 17 and so excited, I remember my brother called for my attention and when I turned around a drum stick hit me, I would have caught it, darn it!!

Unless we're counting highschool friends band in a coffee shop as a show, my first one was actually Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and John Mellencamp. I think I was 16? Couldn't understand Bob Dylan at all to no surprise.

Haha, ummmm... I think I went a Babyface concert with my parents as my first? I would say that’s dating my age, but I actually don’t think it is. (I’m 30, for those curious)

First concert by choice was Matt & Kim, I believe.

My first live show was Hall & Oates and I really don’t remember much about it so maybe it doesn’t count? The first show that really made an impression, one I was able to go to because I was on a “college visit,” was U2 on tour for The Joshua Tree. Sat up in the rafters about as far way from the stage as you could get and still be at the concert but they were loud and it was awesome.

My memory is shot but I want to say my first concert was Paul Young at the Greek Theater. But it also might have been B.J. Thomas at Knott's Berry Farm. Seeing live music is such a great experience because of what you described, everyone singing along and collectively adding positive energy to the experience. What an amazing thing to do with your daughter, especially given the last two years this wasn't a possibility. Congratulations! That's wonderful and it made my heart smile for the both of you.

I recently re-read all 54 Saga comics and 55 (this morning). It was familiar but I had also forgotten a lot. It's fantastic and I look forward to catching up with the latest issues. Glad it's back. My thanks to your team and you. Peace, maka

My first concert was technically Hank Williams, Jr., but I was ten, and I was given the choice of staying with the babysitter or joining my parents. I didn't care about the concert so much as being old enough to reject being babysitted, even with conditions.

A few years later, the first "real" concert was the Guns 'N Roses/Metallica/Faith No More show at the Hoosier Dome in 1992. Coming home from Indianapolis at whatever-the-fuck-in-the-morning, our car was passed by a big stretch limousine, since Axl is from my hometown.

Avenged Sevenfold and Stone Sour. Glasgow 2010. Skinny 15 year old caught in a Category 5 mosh pit of jacked, bearded, drunken Scots. First experience of live music, pit etiquette and dehydration. Arrived at the show a boy, left a man.

My first four shows were Franz Ferdinand. My cousin gave me their CD when I was a teenager listening to trash and I got hooked on arty meaningless indie music. Still am!

Like the stereotypical queer woman I am, my first concert was Lilith Fair.

Weird Al Yankovic at the Arizona State Fair back in the 90’s. He might not wear an inflatable fat suit anymore for certain songs, but it’s nice to see him putting out new tunes to this day! Bonus trivia, his dad, Frankie Yankovic, was a polka star too and cranked out some hits.

My first "Concert" was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Coming out of their Shells. My first real concert was Fleetwood Mac during their first reunion tour. At 39 years old I realize that is quite a bit of range.

My memory could be completely lying to me, but if I recall my first real show was during freshman orientation at NYU, which I swear was Modest Mouse (this was Moon and Antarctica era, so before they were huge). I then proceeded to destroy my ears over the next decade or so over a great many amazing shows.

At my first concert 16-year-old me was happy how easy it was to walk relatively close to the stage. I didn't feel like checking my coat so I was just standing there, in my thick winter coat like a weirdo, waiting for the show to start. What a way to learn about the whole concept of mosh pits (yes, getting back out was not quite as easy, once the audience got going).
