The score for Lost might be one of my favorites ever. Just thinking about certain parts of that score can easily illicit emotional responses from me. Been trying to get my hands on the vinyl of it for a while now!

Most of my new music discoveries come from KCRW or KCSN these days, but lately I've been hooked on Shannon and the Clams (https://youtu.be/_CL9fHE4wXQ) and Gabriels (https://youtu.be/Ho05Sz8uukE)

I also saw Onward with my son the week before everything locked down over here in the UK, what a strange experience! Everyone kinda talking about covid but not knowing what was going to happen so sitting nervously in a cinema hoping for the best. Weirdly enough watched it again this weekend and still very much enjoyed it.

I also loved The Batman and the score has been on constant play for the last two weeks! Giacchino is indeed a genius. I listen to a lot of soundtracks when working and a constant favourite is the soundtrack to Westworld by Ramin Djawadi, his classic versions of modern hits are so satisfying and fun to listen to!

Thanks for another beautiful chapter - already looking forward to more!

The first minute of Rammsteins new single - Zeit. Beeeeeeautiful. And if you need a pop indie banger to wiggle your bum to whilst you wash up. Check out 2am by Foals.

I'm really enjoying Wet Leg right now. I was lucky enough to see them live this past weekend at Underground Arts in Philadelphia. It was a great show, and awesome preview of their upcoming debut album!

Joanna Newsom, always and forever! She's not everyone's cup of tea but she's 100% mine. I always recommend people start with the album "Divers".

It was a great weekend! Thanks for asking. Left my bunker to knock off some National Parks. I'm on a Gordon Lightfoot kick. Like this story, the deeper I go the more I apreciate it.

That music from The Batman was stuck in my head for like 24 hours after watching it...so damn good. Great flick too, really enjoyed Pattinson and WTF that was Colin Farrell???

Alex Cameron has a new album, this time about drug addiction. He's always great at squeezing his music into an uncomfortable, gross corner and sitting in it.

Wow, can't wait to see where this story will go from there - I am really enjoying the slow pace this keeps unfolding week by week! Also, I can totally see how LOST without the score would feel very, very different, thanks for that behind-the-scenes-peek! Bit of a left-field-question: I distinctly remember an episode of Top Chef with all of you LOST writers as guest judges but I have since found no reference to it anywhere online. That did really happen, right? Seeing how both shows are/were extremely popular I find it odd that I can't even find the season or episode mentioned anywhere.

Thanks for you latest installment of "Spectators" Brian. I'm 62 and I was pretty resistant to ever read a comic online. But I sort of accidentally saw the great interview you did with Cartoonist Kayfabe and had to check it out after you mentioned it. I've read a lot of comic books and very unusual to open up like that in the theater with a mass shooter and then of course kill off the main character right away but have a "ghost" rise out of her. All good so far. For you - one of my amateur song bits from the analog days of 1989. It is comic book related in that it was lyrically based on the fictional song of a Hillbilly character by outsider artist Dan Clowes. https://youtu.be/UZ_dW-kvqYc
