No SDCC - I don’t know when I’m going to feel comfortable going to cons again given the… questionable hygiene of many goers, and still feeling uneasy about Covid, etc.
This chapter is just stunning. I really hope Niko made a video while working on that double page spread because… holy hell. Just spectacular.

Yeah, the gun laws in Texas are irrational to say the least right now; and GOD DAMN we need more outsider & insider mediums to put this horror in the faces of the American people. It's insane and needs to stop. I'm grateful to Pia for her biting, necessary critique. We all need to feel haunted and rapidly come to an agreement about curtailing this violence against our children.

Sadly, I will not be attending this year. I went once in 2013 and rather enjoyed the chaotic shit show that it is. I believe I tried to get into a signing with you at that con or maybe the NY Comic con a couple years later for Under the Dome. Unfortunately It was a lottery drawing that I did not get lucky on. Bummer summer. Someday! Enjoy the chaos!

I’m just waiting for the Spectator’s Elon Musk to arrive after seeing that Hyperloop in the background.
As a European it will take me some more saving to get to SDCC or any other US con someday. Although the Tower gathering sounds interesting… Maybe we should do a European gathering with Niko - I’ll bring the beers!

Not going to San Diego but I'll be at NYCC. I only bought the ticket for Substack panels and Artist Alley...going to attempt to get some sketches or original art but have no idea what I'm doing at an actual in person con.

I will not being attending SDCC this year, and now I am even more sad! I'd love to be at said special gathering! I will be attending C2E2 in Chicago this August though. Amazing page from Pia, my sincere gratitude for the nightmares that will surely come my way.
